Good morning, girls!

I've been dying to post this all weekend.  These California Turkey Burgers were a huge hit.  LOVE THEM!


Click on the link above for the recipe.  The only thing I did different is I carmelized the red onion slices.  I heated a teaspoon maybe of olive oil in a skillet, then sauteed the thin red onion slices with a couple packets of zero calorie Truvia (like Splenda).  So yummy :)  Had a leftover burger all loaded up for dinner last night!

I've been enjoying lately (fast & portable is the name of the game with me):

  • 2 toasted (frozen) whole wheat waffles = 120 calories

  • 1 cup of dry Multigrain Cheerios w/ half a banana= 160 calories

  • 1 container of Yoplait Greek Yogurt  (honey flavor) = 130 calories

  • California Turkey Burger w/ whole wheat bun = 370 calories

  • 4 ounces of sandwich meat turkey = 120 calories

  • 1 whole wheat english muffin w/ 1 T of Maranatha almond butter = 215 calories

  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries (thawed out w/ juice) = 50 calories

  • Sliced tomatoes w/ salt & pepper= 35 calories each

  • Sliced apple w/ 1 T Smucker's reduced fat peanut butter = 175 calories

  • Mixed Berry, banana, & vanilla protein shake = 400 calories

  • Green Giant steam-in-bag roasted red potatoes w/ green beans in rosemary butter sauce = 300 calories

  • Archer Farms steam-in-bag broccoli florets = 100-300 calories

  • 6 egg whites scrambled with 1/4 cup Athenos tomato basil crumbled feta and 2 cups baby spinach = 200 calories

  • 1 banana = 100 calories

  • Terra sweet potato chips w/ tomato horseradish dip (dip powder mix given me by my mother-in-law but from (http://www.gotdip.biz/) made w/ FF sour creme & FF mayo) = 200 calories

  • 2 cups baby spinach w/ 1 cup of frozen strawberries (thawed out w/ juice- no need for dressing) = 62 calories
